Day 3 of 14 - Results of morning efforts.

The living room is still clean & tidy.

I tidied, and dusted it last night before I went to bed. My house mate came out & sang "Sady - the cleaning lady" at me while I was doing it.

I reacted badly to it because when I'm working, I just like to work. Even though it was meant in good humour, he didn't realise that it felt a bit like he was mocking me.

I don't know if he understands how important this 14 day project is for me. Perhaps he'll understand when I get to the end of it.

This whole 14 Day thing is about completion. It's about finishing what I start & making sure that it's able to be maintained. It's about changing old habits and creating new lifestyle. It's about creating a new me that I enjoy.

The weights have been stacked up, clean and tidy. I've put 10kg plates on the bar - I'm going to try them later.

I'm glad that my previous house mate left this stuff here. I know how much it cost him. And I know that there is a lot of value in having it.

The important thing, is to remember that nothing is going to change in my body if I don't actually pick them up and start using them.

I've vacuumed the floor out there.

I don't have time to do the full room right now, but I will do more tonight when I come home from work.

I've been invited to Bible Study tonight, but it's more important that I get this work finished.

It's vital that my project is completed - and it will be!

This is the view from inside the living room.

Just for context, and comparison - click on the word yesterday, and you'll see what it looked like yesterday.

  1. Good good good. I am glad that you are sticking to the plan. It's important that, for now, nothing get in the way of this, so yay. Also, try to take things in stride. I'm sure your roomie wasn't intending to be a douche. Explain to him what you are doing and why it is important and I'm certain he'll support you (and probably sing too).

    ^_^ proud of you.
